Individual Therapy
Something in you knows it’s time to look more closely.

Maybe you’ve been carrying anxiety or depression for so long it feels like part of who you are, a heaviness that colors everything. Maybe you’re living with OCD and are exhausted by the mental loops. Maybe you’ve experienced loss, of a person, a belief system, a version of yourself, and you need space to actually grieve. Maybe you just know you want more from your life than you’re currently able to access.
Whatever brings you here, this is your space. I will meet you where you are, and work with you toward more ease.
What We Work On
I work with adults experiencing a wide variety of life, relational, and clinical mental health challenges:
Anxiety
Depression
Trauma
Relationship Patterns
Grief & Loss
Life Transitions
Religious Trauma
OCD & Intrusive Thoughts
How I Work
My approach is highly integrative and tailored entirely to you. I view each person as a whole: the mind, the body, personal history, and the larger culture all matter.
We don’t just talk about the problem, we slow down and bring mindful attention to the physical sensations, somatic responses, and early relational strategies that drive how you protect yourself and connect with others today. I draw on somatic awareness, psychodynamic depth therapy, trauma work, parts-based work (IFS and TIST), and evidence-based treatments like ERP for OCD.
Real and sustainable change comes not from pushing yourself harder, but from understanding yourself more deeply and meeting what you find with compassion.
Anxiety
With anxiety and panic, we slow down and bring mindful attention to what the worry is actually about: its roots, its triggers, what it’s protecting. Rather than pushing against it, we work to understand it, and build your capacity to be with discomfort without being controlled by it. Learn more
Depression
With depression, I follow what’s present for you: the numbness, the heaviness, the disconnection, without rushing toward fixing it. We explore what the depression is connected to, and gently build conditions for things to shift: meaning, self-compassion, connection. Learn more
Grief
Grief gets as much time as it needs. I follow your pace. Some people need to tell the story again and again. Some need to sit with what loss feels like in the body. Some need to understand what it means about who they are now. Learn more
Life Transitions
Life transitions often bring an identity question alongside the practical change: who am I now, what do I actually want, what comes next? I work with the full weight of that question, with patience and depth. Learn more
Trauma
With trauma, I work carefully and at your pace, paying close attention to what is present in each session, moving slowly, and following what emerges. I draw on parts-based work, psychodynamic understanding, and body-centered approaches when they are a good fit. Learn more
OCD and Intrusive Thoughts
For OCD, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the effective evidence-based treatment for OCD, adapted carefully to your specific presentation. Learn more
Religious Trauma
Religious trauma involves grief, identity disruption, and often a profound loss of community and meaning. Whether you have left your faith, are questioning from within, or are somewhere in between, this work is non-judgmental and shaped by where you are. Learn more
Self-Criticism
For many people, the harshest voice of judgment is their own. We work to notice that voice with curiosity rather than fighting it, to understand where it comes from, what it has been trying to protect, and how to develop a different relationship with it. We aim for more room for compassion and less for punishment. Learn more
Relationship Patterns
The ways we learned to relate as children tend to follow us into our adult relationships. Individual therapy is a powerful place to understand those patterns: where they come from, how they show up, and what opens up when we can see them more clearly. Learn more
Spiritual Questions and Meaning-Making
Questions of meaning, purpose, and what we believe, or no longer believe, are some of the most significant a person can face. I welcome these questions. This work can hold both the ending of old frameworks and the slow building of new ones.
Whatever brings you here, this is your space. I’d love to connect.
